Some of the best advantages of the coco beach huts are that their built on the beach itself so one can experience living near the shore.  One can watch the sun go down while relaxing near their doorstep with a chilled beer in hand, or go to bed hearing the waves crashing against the shore and wake up to the sound and sight of the beach!

Renting villas are also popular among tourists. The advantage of villas is that it can house more than one family since they usually are around 4 to 5 bedrooms. Big families or those that vacation with friends can rent a villa and spilt the cost of it among them. Villas also have well equipped kitchens (for those that would like to prepare meals) its own garden, terraces and most of the time its own swimming pool. This allows one to enjoy and relax privately without other guests around as would be there in a hotel. Rents usually vary from area to area and even village to village, but you can expect to get accommodation for around Rs 1000/- to Rs 5000/- a day depending upon the season and the facilities included in the cost.

It is also worth considering sharing such long stay accommodation with two or three people so as to bring down the costs. Most importantly, reserve such long-term accommodation well in advance to get a good bargain as most such houses and rooms are rented by visitors who return to the same house year after year and as such get first preference.
